Mobile Democrat TR2024 receives and organizes the data it manages in the categories listed below.
The photos of the vote-count records taken by the user who intents to contribute to fair elections
These data are stored in the application specific storage area on user’s device and on user’s Google Drive account. The photos taken by using the Mobile Democrat TR2024, and the photos taken by using third party applications and introduced to the Mobile Democrat TR2024 by user’s intentional actions are the data in this scope.
The photos mentioned in this article are the photos of the vote-count records that must be hung visible to anyone by the box committee as per the article 44 of the High Election Council Circular numbered 135 (2018).
A certified copy of the vote-count record is hung a place visible by everyone in the building or the structure where the ballot box was located. This record is kept hung for one week starting from the day of voting.

The vote-count data entered by the user who intents to contribute to fair elections
These data are stored in the application specific storage area on user’s device. The data additional to the vote-count photo such as box location and number, specific details covering registered elector count, voter count, valid votes count, and the votes received by the parties and the candidates are the concern of this article.
The media and location data generated by the user who intents to contribute to fair elections
These data covers the video, photo, audio recorded by using the Mobile Democrat 2024; the media files that contain video, image, and sound that were attached to the incident records with purpose of sharing; and the location data attached to the incident records with consent of the user.
Personal forecasts and scenarios on election results
These data are stored in the application specific storage area on user’s device. The user may enter personal forecasts in order to generate scenario data about the performance of the parties and the probable results at various levels in relation to the results of the General Elections for Local Administrations that was held on May 31st, 2019.
External Mobile Democrat TR2024 data received from other users
These data are stored in the application specific storage area on user’s device. These are the data received by the sharing mechanisms preferred by the user and cover the abovementioned vote-count record photos, ballot box data, incident reports containing media and location data, and personal forecasts and scenarios. The user may choose sharing the application data with other applications in combination with or without the self-generated data.
Sharing
The data items noted above can be shared with the other applications installed on user’s device through informed user actions that is started and carried out with the user’s full initiative and clear consent. The responsibility of all possible consequences resulting from circulation, disclosure and use of data through data-sharing belongs to the user. The Mobile Democrat TR2024 never transmits and/or submits data by using the methods other than the method of sharing data with the other applications installed on user’s device.
Purpose and Method
The Mobile Democrat TR2024 demands privilege of accessing camera(s), microphone, and location of the device, and the Internet. It demands these accesses on the sole purpose of new app version checks (*), enabling the user to contribute to fair elections by generating vote-count records that contain photos, incident records that contain media and location data, and creating the copies of the media files stored in this context on user’s Google Drive account. The Mobile Democrat TR2024 accesses to the Internet for version check by posting requests with no body text and parameters. The Mobile Democrat TR2024 was developed with the capability of using camera(s), microphone, location of the device, and the Internet with no other purposes in mind.
The Mobile Democrat TR2024 never asks the user to supply or to provide access to the private / sensitive data such as user’s name, phone number, personal contact data including the contact lists, messaging data, and similar. The Mobile Democrat TR2024 never applies any method, overt or covert, to access the private / sensitive data mentioned in this article.
Privacy and Security
The Mobile Democrat TR2024 creates a copy of each media file that it manages by the open consent and initiative on Google Drive account of the user. This way, it enables other users who received the vote-count data and incident reports through sharing mechanisms to view the original authentic vote-count record and incident details. The user credentials to access the Google Drive space is never entered into the Mobile Democrat TR2024. Privacy and security are the ultimate concerns for both the developer and Google. The Mobile Democrat TR2024 complies all state of the art standards and protocols to ensure privacy and security while accessing Google Drive space of the user. The application uses OAuth 2.0 protocol, utilizes Google Drive API V3 only within the scope referred to as “https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file” (**). Conforming to the secure development framework practices, the user credentials are communicated with Google servers without intervention of the Mobile Democrat TR2024 through secure interaction mechanisms specific to each mobile platform. The Mobile Democrat TR2024 is not allowed to access the user’s Google Drive space out of the scope noted.
The Mobile Democrat TR2024 stores the data in the application specific storage area as proposed, mandated, and at the security level supplied by the operating system. Any person or any force in act that compromises the security of this storage area by applying technical methods, force, coercion, deception, and/or other ways should be held responsible as the side that committed the act of violation of privacy and security.
(*) The requests are limited to https://mobildemokrat.org/wp-content/uploads/appversions/tr2024.json, https://mobildemokrat.org/mobil-demokrat-tr2024#downloadarea, https://mobildemokrat.org/mobil-demokrat-update/ . These are bare requests with no parameters, additional header, or request body appended. The requests are not processed for the purposes other than version check and download page viewing.
